THIS IS THE OPINION OF CLIFF TANNER AND NOT NECESSARILY THE THOUGHTS OF THE ENTIRE CREW OF SPEED TALK.
I apologize about the caps tirade but I want it understood that this is the opinion of me and me only. I have tried to keep from giving an opinion on this situation but what I am seeing is making me completely sick.
What is wrong with a lot of you? Stop with the crap. Bottom line here people is that a Sprint car driver lost his life in an unfortunate incident. The most important issue that you need to worry about this young man’s family. We need to come together and pray hard for the family. They have to go through the hardest time in their lives and many of you are out there saying some crazy crap.
Send your thoughts and prayers to the Ward family. They need us more than ever. We do not need to continue playing the video. IT will be hard enough for them to deal with than a million reruns of the incident. It is time to remove the video from all news and web based sites. IT is a sickening thing to go through and many can’t get enough of it. Just horrible.
For you out there that have made comments that are way out in left field should be banned from social media. Yes I said it.
Here is what I have heard. ‘Tony Stewart is a murder and should spend the rest of his life in jail’. First of all Tony may be a hot head but he is far from a murderer. Any IDIOT that thinks he will not remember this for the rest of his life needs a head examination. Tony has to live with the incident for the rest of his life. IT will be more than punishment.
Don;t forget it has been going on on both sides. ‘The kid deserved what he got for running up on Tony.’ WHAT??????????? Are you freakin’ serious??????? Now you IDIOT of the year are a moron.
Hey how about this. Take all of this energy and turn it toward something important in life? Hey I know how about getting this angry about where our country is? Why don’t you take that energy get rid of the politicians that are running the good ol’ USofA. Yeah now there is an idea.
My condolences go out to the family. My thoughts and prayers out to you all as well. Accept my apology for my fellow race fans who have spoken ill of the whole situation.
Come race fans do what I know you do best. Let the family put him to rest in peace. Godspeed Kevin.
Let us bow our heads.
Dear heavenly Father please lay Your healing hand upon the Ward family as they go through this difficult time. Hold them in Your heart as they try and understand what has happened. Lay Your healing hand on everyone involved including the fans and first responders.
Also lay Your hand that of Tony Stewart as he will have to deal and go through some difficult times over the next few days. Lord please forgive all who have said and thought some distasteful and hateful things. Above all else we ask for your guidance through it all.
In Your Heavenly Name Amen.
